• Your API keys: API keys are stored locally on your device using secure storage (Keychain)
• Your project files: All Xcode project data stays on your Mac
• Personal identification information: We don't collect names, emails, or addresses through the App
• Usage tracking data: We don't track how you use the App

3. Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• API Keys: Stored securely in macOS Keychain
• App Preferences: Your settings and preferences
• Translation Memory: Previously translated strings for consistency
• Custom Glossary: Your defined terms and translations
• Recent Projects: Paths to recently opened projects

This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

4. Third-Party AI Services

4.1 How API Communication Works

When you use AI translation features, your translation content is sent directly from your device to your chosen AI provider:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT)
• Anthropic (Claude)
• Google (Gemini)

This communication happens directly between your device and the AI provider's servers. LocaleX acts only as a client and does not intercept, store, or process this data on any intermediate servers.

4.2 Third-Party Privacy Policies

Your use of AI translation services is subject to the privacy policies of your chosen provider:

4.3 API Key Security

Your API keys are:

5. App Store Data

When you purchase or download LocaleX through the App Store, Apple may collect certain information according to their privacy policies. This is handled by Apple, not by LocaleX. Please review:

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

LocaleX does not include any analytics SDKs or crash reporting services. We do not collect:

• App usage statistics
• Crash reports
• Performance metrics

We implement security measures to protect locally stored data:

• No Network Transmission: Your data is not sent to our servers because we don't have any

LocaleX is a professional development tool and is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: All data is stored on your device and accessible to you
• Deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
• API Keys: You can delete or change your API keys at any time in App settings
• Translation Memory: You can clear translation memory from within the App
