1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LocaleX ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LocaleX is a professional localization tool designed for iOS and macOS developers. The App provides:

• Translation management for Xcode projects (.xcstrings and .strings files)
• AI-powered translation services through third-party providers
• Multi-language support for 130+ languages
• Translation memory and custom glossary features
• Quality assurance and proofreading tools

3. API Key Usage

3.1 Your Own API Keys

LocaleX requires you to provide your own API keys from supported AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid API keys from your chosen provider
• You must comply with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider
• All API usage costs are billed directly by your AI provider, not by LocaleX
• LocaleX is not responsible for any charges incurred through your API key usage

3.2 API Key Security

Your API keys are stored securely on your local device. LocaleX does not transmit, store, or have access to your API keys on any external servers. You are solely responsible for:

• Keeping your API keys confidential and secure
• Monitoring your API usage and associated costs
• Revoking or rotating keys if you suspect unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Pricing

LocaleX is offered as a subscription service at $49.99/year. This fee grants you access to:

• Unlimited projects
• Unlimited translations
• All app features and updates

4.2 Device Limitation

Your subscription allows you to use LocaleX on one Mac at a time:

• When you open LocaleX on a Mac, that device becomes your active device
• If you open LocaleX on a different Mac, your previous session will be deactivated
• You can switch between devices freely, but only one device can be active at any given time
• This limitation helps us maintain affordable pricing for all users

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not use the App to translate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Not circumvent any security features or usage limitations
• Comply with all applicable export laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Ownership

LocaleX, including its design, code, and features, is the intellectual property of Rıza Erdi Karakuş. All rights reserved.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to your translation files, projects, and content processed through the App. LocaleX does not claim any ownership over your content.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party AI translation services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies:

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated translations
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all Xcode project configurations
• Availability of third-party AI services

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all translations before use in production.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rıza Erdi Karakuş shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Costs associated with third-party API usage
• Translation errors or inaccuracies
• App rejection or delays due to translation quality

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.
